The Lowdown: Windows
- Because of him, everyone is a consumer whore.
- He comes in many varieties.
- He can get viruses D:
- He is good for gaming =)

Wat can't you do on a Windows and that $500-$1000 you saved on your Widows computer that you can do on a Mac.
Plus a Mac is a PC. If you say a Mac is not a PC then your mac is not Personal. (PC=Personal Computer)
Small note here: Bootcamp is a partition manager. You don't run *anything* with Bootcamp, you run it with Windows.
Simple. Macs are great for media creation, from video/image editing to music composition. YES Windows is also capable of these but the range of software available for Macs is much nicer.
But Bryan is right, compatibility is a major factor. Games in particular. Of course there are plenty of games available for Macs and you can always use bootcamp, but if you want a gaming rig - Windows is the way to go.

The Lowdown: Mac
- Not very compatible.
- Beautifully made =D
- They can fit so much into one screen!
- It looks awesome.
- The CPU is -184773957487.

Mac can be more compatable now. Also, Macs are mainly used-and are good for-media creation. Videos and graphics are easily and more efficiently made on Macs. However, I use the computer for many other things, and i just like the way windows can organize and handle information and games, so i prefer the PC.
plus u can build them.

My freaking mac crashes all of the time.
The only difference I have found is that Windows is more popular... so of course people are going to design viruses more for it instead.
*common sense

contrary to popular belief, macs DO crash and macs DO get viruses. :(
Not very compatible? Appart from most games, I don't have any problems with anything... iWork opens office files, and Safari displays every website properly. Windows media files work too (with the right plug-ins).
Okay, there aren't many Macintosch games (Although Homeworld 2 is nice :P) but don't say it is "not very compatible". Also, somewhere this year, there will be more intrest in developing games for Mac OS X.
I've never used a Mac, but I love their new line of commercials, especially the 'Leopard is better than Vista' one.

*you really don't know anything*
Nope. XD
Hahaha, what is with that CPU point? Trying to say that Macs are less powerful than WINDOWS. This is not about machines, this is about two operating systems. Operating systems don't have CPUs now, do they?
And even if this was about _PCs_ and Macs, you really don't know anything. You ever tried to produce fullsized magazine with good resolution pictures in these two machine types? Try it with PC few months and then switch to Mac. You can tell which one really is better and more powerful.
