The world cup final is the culmination of 4 years of qualifying by every country in the world, remember FIFA has more member nations then the United Nations. The TV audience and epicness completely dwarfs anything an american football game between only 2 cities could be. Most league games in Europe draw larger TV audiences than the Superbowl. It's not even close, the World Cup final by a MILE

EVEN SUPERBOWL VERSUS UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL WOULD BE CLOSER , AND STILL CHAMPIONS WOULD BEAT IT.
